Found this great article from 1948 in the Daily Mercury (Mackay, Qld) It describes really well the genesis of Australian grown Willow in Australia, the same willow stock that is being used in Richardson Cricket Bats today. Amazing to think that 100 years later, these Willow Blue clefts, and the bats I’m making from them all
