My podshaving has developed as a natural progression from a healthy lifelong obsession with cricket. From growing up watching Dennis Lillee and Viv Richards performing heroic feats in the 70s and 80s, and playing for hours in the backyard with my brother, to junior teams and over 30 years and 300 games with my club Melville (now Murdoch Melville) cricket has always been part of my life.
I have created bats for hundreds of cricketers around Australia and greatly enjoyed the process & craftsmanship of producing custom bats to suit each players game.
The opportunity to design and shape cricket bats for Australian cricketers is something I relish. It gives me a chance to talk cricket, and to make bats that talk.
